Stress is the curse of living in modern times. Everyone suffers from stress. And the stress we suffer takes a heavy toll on our bodies, emotions and minds.

Feeling stressed out, worn out by fatigue or just simply having a miserable day, the best thing to do is relax.

Watching television may be a form of relaxation for some, but is not a recommended method by experts. When we watch TV we are bombarded with commercials, ads, sounds and images. S

Meditation is most commonly associated with monks, mystics and other spiritual disciplines. However, you don’t have to be a monk or mystic to enjoy its benefits. And you don’t even have to be in a special place to practice it. You could even try it in your own living room!

Although there are many different approaches to meditation, the fundamental principles remain the same. The most important among these principles is that of removing obstructive, negative, and wandering thoughts and fantasies, and calming the mind with a deep sense of focus. I Need An iPod For My Meditation & Self-Healing Music November 2, 2007

To be honest, I don’t have any ipod even though it’s so hot and a must-item personal item. :-)

I would like to get an iPod too so that I can listen to my favorite meditation and self-healing music. Instead of listening to songs, I prefer filling my mind and soul with positive self-healing and personal growth music.

Listening to the teacher’s very pleasant voice, guiding me to calm and relaxation is simply fantastic when I am stressed out.
