Deactivate Plugins Before Doing Any WP Upgrade August 27, 2010

No kidding. Next time, I must make sure I deactivate all the plugins before I start the WP upgrade.
A few days ago, I did the one-click upgrade for all of my blogs. A few of my blogs which I used the link cloaking plugin lost all the posts and pages.
Ya, I was so shocked and panicked. Without delay, I looked for help from my web hosting company. Phew, the problem was fixed within minutes!
According to the staff, it must have been one of the plugins that caused the havoc. Well, he was right!
Selling Car Means Saving Money August 10, 2010
Posted by Health Mama in : Health Tips / Matters, Sleep , comments closedSelling our car means saving money. No more worrying about monthly auto loan payment, expensive road tax renewal fee and auto maintenance fee from now on.
Money freed up from auto installment loan can now be used for buying other more necessary household items like heated mattress pads. I have been putting off replacing the old heated mattress pads with new ones for quite a while because of lacking in fund.
They have to be bought soon to ensure that hubby gets a comfortable night’s sleep so his body gets the restorative effect of sleep every night.
A convenient edge of heated mattress pads are that that there are brands which are machine washable and dryable.

Remember I told you I wished hubby would agree to sell the car of ours? You know, it’s finally sold!
We owed it to our friend who introduced a ready buyer to us. His client had been looking for a used Toyota Camry and coincidentally hubby had mentioned of selling our car, so he made an arrangement for his friend to view our car.
The deal was sealed the next day. This friend of us even helped us compare car insurance quotes at www.carinsurancelist.com as he knows more about the rates of different types of cars as well as the qualification for car insurance discounts than we do.
Phew, no more auto loan installment payment starting next month!
The Neighbor’s Son July 27, 2010
Posted by Health Mama in : Alternative Therapy / Treatments , comments closedThis afternoon, hubby and I went back to the old house. Upon arrival, our neighbor opposite came out and chatted with hubby for a while.
It had been quite a while since this neighbor came back to his old house. I remember he left his house and went to live with his daughter in another state after his son was sent to a drug rehab for a non 12 step program. Or was it a 12 step program?
Drug addiction is a hard addiction to recover from but since the neighbor’s son was willing to get help and find the proper treatment for drug life can be restored and addiction can be a thing of the past.
Sell The Car, Please! July 23, 2010
Posted by Health Mama in : Insurance , comments closedIt’s now totally up to hubby whether he wants to trade in our 2.2 cc car for a smaller 1.5 cc one. As I see many advantages, I strongly agree with selling our car.
First, there is no more auto loan payment from next month onwards. If we don’t sell our car, there are still 12 monthly payment amounting to more than $11,000 that needs to be paid.
Next, cheaper road tax renewal fee. The road tax for our car is about $600 a year while the smaller car costs $90 only per year.
As the smaller car is less than $8,000, it’s for sure that we get to enjoy very cheap auto insurance premium.
I am actually praying that hubby sees the advantages and agrees to sell it since there is a buyer. Well, there are a few buyers!
Does Your Hubby Love Shopping? July 23, 2010

Hubby just came back from his shopping spree. This husband of mine really likes shopping.
Whenever he keeps mentioning he feels like going to the nearby mall/supermarket for a while, I know he is up to something. There must be something that he wants to buy. Bingo!
What has he bought? A pair of short pants and some fruits.
Does your hubby love shopping?
