Deactivate Plugins Before Doing Any WP Upgrade August 27, 2010

No kidding. Next time, I must make sure I deactivate all the plugins before I start the WP upgrade.

A few days ago, I did the one-click upgrade for all of my blogs. A few of my blogs which I used the link cloaking plugin lost all the posts and pages.

Ya, I was so shocked and panicked. Without delay, I looked for help from my web hosting company. Phew, the problem was fixed within minutes!

According to the staff, it must have been one of the plugins that caused the havoc. Well, he was right!

Waiting & Still Waiting … July 8, 2010

Hubby has already asked the principal about my job application two times, so he is not going to ask the third time. Just wait and see if the principal will call me for an interview or not next week.

Thank God, my online income seems to have bounced back a bit. This means I don’t have to be so worried like a few weeks ago.

Instead of being worried and watching TV series online most of the time, I am back to finding more fitness equipment products for my health blog or deal offers for my discount blog.

Hire Me As The School Clerk, Please! July 2, 2010

Hubby and I had breakfast together just now. He agreed to ask the school principal whether he would really consider hiring me for the vacant job.

You know, it’s been a week since hubby helped me submit my qualifications to the school principal. There’s been no news/hints whether the principal is interested in hiring me as one of the clerks needed quite urgently.

Well, leave it to God! Just go on with writing every diet supplement review I have or updating every single blog of mine until I am called for an interview.

I am praying that God is taking care of my savings so that it doesn’t run dry.

The Internet Line Is As Slow As A Snail June 29, 2010

I slept at 8.30 pm last night. Very early, right? What to do? The internet line was as slow as a snail and came to a halt many, many times last night.

The internet line has been terrible since the beginning of 2010 FIFA World Cup. The speed is always good in the morning, but it starts going slow in the afternoon and super slow in the evening.

I really hope the line will go back to normal once the world cup is over. Next week, right?

Please Bring My Internet Line Back To Normal June 10, 2010

I don’t know what else I can do when my internet line is bad. I have had enough of reading books, watching TV shows, hanging out with friends and browsing through modern sofas whenever the line is extremely slow.

If the bad internet line problem persists, I will go mad. I can’t stand from staying online for more than 15 hours a day to only a few hours a day. Too much time left in hand when the line keeps disconnecting.

I am praying to God now. Dear Lord Jesus, please help bring my internet line back to normal. I miss the super fast broadband connection and also blog updates!

You know, I haven’t been able to update my blogs for many days already. Sigh!

Strong Self Control Is Needed May 26, 2010

I am trying to limit my time spent at Facebook and Twitter. I know I have spent way too much time there writing notes and making tweets. Enough!

Time spent at Facebook and Twitter should be on building traffic and links. That’s all.

Once completed, I should quickly come back to write blog posts or articles for directory submissions.

Or update my niche blogs with the latest online life insurance quotes or weight loss products.

Being self-employed and building blogs at home really require strong self control and discipline.
