I am glad that my elder brother-in-law has started earning money from doing foot reflexology after completing a short course.

It’s a relief to my elder sister because she doesn’t have to consider taking up another job to pay all the bills and payments anymore.

Being a foot reflexologist doesn’t mean that my elder-in-law has stopped his insurance work. He still serves his existing clients, accepts life insurance applications and attends insurance-related courses.

Ya, it’s wise to have multiple income sources in this bad economy.

FrowningMy elder sister called and asked if I had received the baby shower invitations she sent me two days ago. Yes, they arrived today.

Unbelievable, 3 baby shower invitations from my old classmates! Come on, we have lost contact with them for soooooo many years.

It’s for sure that I won’t attend any of them. But I will send them gifts or money gifts.

I think I had better let my sisters and other family members know that I don’t want to keep in touch with old classmates or colleagues that I don’t click well with.

Oh, love hubby so much! I feel like gifting him a package of hair loss treatments at a nearby hair salon this Valentine. :-)

Oh, it’s the 13th already! How’s your Valentine gift shopping? Are you ready with the gift for her?

If you are really tight on budget, why not spend your time with her instead of buying gift? It’s the thought that counts, right?

In times of bad economy, it really doesn’t matter when there is no gift giving.

I have stopped giving tuition for more than a month now. I love my life now more than ever.

Although hubby has been persuading me to teach again, I am adamant that I don’t want to give tuition.

I hope that it’s also God’s will that I don’t have to go back to teaching again. My passion for teaching is simply not there anymore.

God, let my online business expand and make me more money, okay?

I thank God for increasing income and healthy body. I try to say a thankful prayer every day, if possible.

With the increasing income, I can pay down my debt faster and save more money as emergency fund.

Sometimes I do dream what I should do once all the debt is paid off and there is a huge sum of the emergency fund in the bank. Investing in gold and buying a new home?

Speaking of buying a new home, there’s no harm checking out Austin homes for sale once in a while.

Who knows? Maybe my dream will come true one day!

Moving to the rented flat is definitely a wise decision! Since moving here, I have been cooking most of the meals at home.

I must say that it’s so much cheaper to cook at home than eating out. I never knew that cooking home-cooked meals can save so much money.

I think I can cut down the food and meal expenses by half if I make use of the best home budget software properly.

Imagine saving the rest of the food and meal money into my own personal saving account! Wuahaha! :-)
