Cook Lunch, Compare Vacation Packages & Write Reviews

Hi, you see me now? But a minute later, you will see me offline. :-)

I have some marketing to do at the morning market. And then, prepare to cook lunch. Right after cooking lunch, I will take a shower.

I will compare a few las vegas vacation packages online and write a few reviews before I turn on my MSN and chat with you again.

What a busy Saturday! Actually there are more stuff to do. I am just too lazy to tell you the whole list.

Do A Thorough Cleaning For The Guest Room

Phew, I can heave a relief now! My brother in law finally went back to the city after his brothers stopped talking to him.

Right after my brother in law left the house the other day, I did a very thorough cleaning for the guest room. I cleaned the mattresses, washed all the bedding sheets and pillow cases, wiped the walls and windows with strong detergent cleaners.

Even the wall sconce had to be cleaned with disinfecting detergent.

I really hope he won’t be back until next year. Or better still, hubby and I move to live nearby hubby’s school.

Replace Leaking Sinks With Copper Kitchen Sinks

Hubby is thinking of replacing the leaking sinks in the kitchen with copper kitchen sinks.

I am fine with hubby’s choice because copper kitchen sinks naturally kill bacteria and viruses.

According to hubby, they are considered as “living sinks.” They are called “living sinks” because their color changes with the passing time.

Most important of all, It’s easy to care for copper sinks and they can be re-polished to create a brighter appearance.

Mind Sharing Some Home Theater Seating Cleaning Tips?

I am currently collecting some home theater seating cleaning tips.

I would be grateful if you could share with me some quick fixes when it comes to cleaning home theater seating and home theater room.

I don’t understand why one of my bedrooms tends to accumulate dust easily. Coincidentally, it’s my home theater room.

Each week, I have to clean my room two times.

Going To Start The Basement Remodeling

We are going to start the basement remodeling project soon.

The first step in finishing a basement is to correct any dampness problems and then seal the floor and walls carefully. A dampness problem in a finished basement can open the door to all kinds of problems. The dampness will make the area feel cooler or warmer. But more important, the dampness will breed mold and mildew.

Next we will work on the support beams or posts. There are three support posts or beams in the basement. Trying to remove them will be costly, so the better solution will be to put fiberglass columns around them or build square boxes around them with drywall.

The Switches & Lighting Fixtures Don’t Look Safe At All!

Speaking of the lighting fixtures in the flat that hubby and I are going to move into, they are really not bright enough.

The lighting fixtures as well as the switches are also not safe enough. They look very old to me.

Hubby has asked the landlord whether it’s possible to replace the old switches with the new ones, but the landlord keeps assuring that all the switches are fine.

He insists that he has checked every plug and switch in the house and they are all safe. Well, what else can we say?

Stay At Home Due To H1N1 Virus Outbreak

Due to current H1N1, aka swine fever, virus outbreak, hubby and I try to stay at home as much as possible to avoid close contacts with potential infected people at crowded places.

It’s always safe to take extra precautionary measures. Prevention is better than cure, right?

Hubby finally has free time to read the complete golf training aid that he bought some time ago.

If the swine fever virus outbreak had not happened, he would have forgotten that he had bought the training aid.

50% Off Navy Blue Rug Deal

50% Off Navy Blue RugSome work at home moms I know are quite against buying 50% to 70% off bargains.

They reason that the quality of the stuff must be lousy if they are of 50% to 70% off. Funny, right?

Look at this navy blue rug! It’s a beautiful and durable contemporary wool hand tufted rug.

I found it when I was checking out some clearance sales online.

It took me some time to pick the one I like because there were too many area rugs that came with 50%, 60% and up to 70% off.

Replace An Old Water Heater With A New Tankless Water Heater To Save Energy Bills

So many blogging pals go for tankless water heater, I wonder if I should consider replacing my old water with a tankless water heater.

According to my buddies, their tankless water heaters save their energy bills in long run even though the initial cost for a tankless heater and the required installation for a new electrical service to it was expensive.

Let me discuss with hubby to see if he is interested in replacing with a new tankless water heater.
