Boost Immune System With Chinese Medicine & Nutritional Supplements

My hubby has stopped doing foot reflexology treatment to my uncle for the time being. He wants to see how my uncle responses to the chemotherapy. My uncle hasn’t started his chemotherapy yet.

My uncle’s immune system is quite strong mainly because of his taking in some Chinese medicine and a branded nutritional supplement product. If they keep boosting his immune system, hubby doesn’t have to drive all the way to the city to do foot treatment to my uncle.

We are 2 hours’ drive away from my uncle’s place.

Besides I still have tons of health and compact flash articles to be submitted online. As for hubby, he was recently appointed as a local councilor in charge of his village. He must be around all the time, otherwise the villagers will start swearing.

Cameron Diaz Had A Nose Job Or Rhinoplasty In 2006

I was shocked when I read an article that Cameron Diaz desperately wanted to have plastic surgery. Well, I am a bit outdated about this! I thought she was under the knife in 2006?

After reading the full article, I came to understand why she wanted to have a nose job or rhinoplasty. Her reason of wanting to have a nose job is that she has had so much trouble breathing that the surgery would be more of a necessity than a luxury.

She broke her nose for the fourth time a few years back during one of her surfing expeditions and as a result, her nose is now in very bad shape.

Snack For Energy

Go for smaller, frequent meals instead of three heavy ones. People who eat 4 or more times a day are 45% less likely to be obese.

This doesn’t mean you actually eat more; the trick is “snacking smart“.

Stay away from saturated fat found in cookies and chips, and opt for bites that will give you sustained energy instead, like nuts, dried fruit and cereal with low-fat milk such as Magnolia Lo-Fat Hi-Cal Milk.

Or have a vegetable sandwich with Gardenia Mighty 42 white bread which is enriched with vitamins and minerals for that extra healthy bite.

Time To Pump Up The Iron

Whenever I find that my energy level is low, I know it could be due to low iron levels. I normally boost my iron levels by eating red meat and dark green leafy vegetables.

Researchers at Cornell University asked a group of women to increase their iron intake and found that in just a month, they had enough energy to work out for 10% longer.

Unbuttered Popcorn Is Healthy Snack

Though hubby and I are very health-conscious, we can’t resist the temptation of popcorn.

Whenever we go for a movie, we can’t keep our eyes off the popcorn machine and then we will queue up and get ours.

I bet if there is a popcorn machine available at the grocery store, my hubby and I will have popcorn for lunch instead.

Popcorn is a wholesome food which aids digestion by providing necessary roughage.

Health and medical groups regard popcorn as an excellent mealtime complement: it’s sugar-free, fat-free, and low in calories.

Popcorn is also a very economical grain so it’s an inexpensive way to add fiber to your diet. It is a good source of carbohydrate energy and fiber.

Low in both calories and fat, popcorn is literally “light” – one gallon of unbuttered popcorn weighs only 3 1/2 ounces – carrying a mere 390 calories. Why ? Popped popcorn is mostly air and has no artificial colors, preservatives or sugars to weigh it down.

But because it’s high in carbohydrates, protein and other nutrients, popcorn is one of the healthiest snacks around.
