Hubby thinks I should do the treatment for acne myself during the outbreak of swine fever.
By not going out, we can decrease the chance of having close contact with people who are sick or getting flu from those who become ill with influenza-like symptoms.
To prevent yourself from getting the flu, you should also wash your hands, get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids and eat nutritious food.

Posted by Health Mama in : Food / Drinks , comments closedDue to the current scare from the swine flu outbreak in the America, I think I should just stop eating pork for some time.
Don’t get me wrong. Eating properly handled and cooked pork products is safe.
From what I read, swine influenza viruses are not spread by food. So, you won’t get swine influenza from eating pork or pork products.
I just don’t feel like eating pork for the time being.

Replace Leaking Sinks With Copper Kitchen Sinks April 22, 2009
Posted by Health Mama in : Home , comments closedHubby is thinking of replacing the leaking sinks in the kitchen with copper kitchen sinks.
I am fine with hubby’s choice because copper kitchen sinks naturally kill bacteria and viruses.
According to hubby, they are considered as “living sinks.” They are called “living sinks” because their color changes with the passing time.
Most important of all, It’s easy to care for copper sinks and they can be re-polished to create a brighter appearance.

I have been craving for hot and spicy food these few days. A day before yesterday, I had spicy rice for dinner and yesterday I ate hot and spicy fried rice.
Tonight, I am thinking of eating curry noodle. I mean the traditional curry noodle which is served with steamed chicken slices, deep-fried taufu cubes and cockles. Mmm, yummy!
Or maybe I will eat curry chicken rice. A plate of curry chicken rice that comes with plain white rice.

Give me a break! I am watching a celebrity TV show now and the female celebrity is telling how fussy she is when it comes to self image.
No matter how dead tired she is, she must finish trimming her ten fingernails.
Whenever she has her manicure or pedicure, she will keep her eyes on the progress. This way she makes sure every toenail or fingernail is being taken care of properly.
Siao! Doesn’t she feel tired?
She says even when she is on a vacation or cruise trip, she must keep herself beautiful at all time. Give me a break!
