You are going to read some of my buddies and my creepy and funny sleeping incidents. From nightmares,
1. Eeeeeeeccckkkkk !!!
” I was travelling with my sister to Singapore from Penang by bus one night. we had no choice but to take seats at the end of the bus. The 10-hour journey was real bumpy ride. I couldn’t sleep well at all. The seats could not be lowered down. Plus, small cockroaches were roaming around us. Needless to say, I had deep dark rings around my eyes the next morning that would be my first and last ride ever ! ”
2. Overslept
“Being so tired after camping, I slept through the day as soon as I reached my bed. When I woke up,the clock on the desk showed “7:00″. Immediately, I jumped off the bed, hastily put on my school uniform.
‘Oh no!Why didn’t Mom wake me up? I’ll be late for school!’
Then, my Mom woke in with a surprised look on her face. ‘What are you doing, Sara ?’ she said. ‘It’s only seven o’clock in the evening!’”
3. Goosebumps
“Once I was sound asleep, and I suddenly awoke because I felt very cold. I also felt something heavy pressing on my body. I tried to scream for help but no sound came out. I was aware of what was happening and tried to reach for my talisman, which I carry with me for protection. Then, I heard my husband saying something and the heaviness that I felt was gone.”
First off, let me start by saying this list is by no means exhaustive.
However, if you can manage these 4 important components of a weight loss program, you will be on your way to a slimmer body.
Build the Foundation. Many people begin a weight loss program with their basal metabolic rate (BMR), which is the amount of energy (calories) your body uses in a resting state, in the gutter.
The key then is to increase your BMR so that you are burning more calories throughout the day, every day. Increase the amount of calories you burn, increase the amount of fat you lose. Makes sense, yes?
The best way to increase your BMR is through adding muscle tissue. Females often shudder at the idea of adding muscle due to their fear of becoming “bulky.” Relax babe! It’s a little harder to add that kind of muscle mass than you think. (more…)
Another reason why we need to relax, aside from lowering blood pressure in people and decreasing the chances of a stroke or a heart attack, is because stress produces hormones that suppress the immune system, relaxation gives the immune system time to recover and in doing so function more efficiently.
Relaxation lowers the activities within the brains’ limbic system; this is the emotional center of our brain.
Furthermore, the brain has a periodic need for a more pronounced activity on the right-hemisphere. Relaxation is one way of achieving this.
Relaxation can really be of good use once a relaxation technique is regularly built into your lifestyle.
My hubby is a watch maniac. He used to buy watches very often. I remember that he buy 3 watches during Chinese New Year last year. Unbelievable, huh ? It’s true.
I believe guys are very obsessed with their hobbies such as collecting watches and other antiques while women are crazy about dazzling diamond rings and jewelry.
Hanging out at eBay and some online watch websites is his favorite pastime these days as he tries to curb his spending habit. He has learnt to admire Swiss-made watches instead of owning them using his credit cards.
Let me recall….mmm.. I think he used to own watches of Rado, Mido, Titoni, Bulova, Tissot, Omega, Invicta and Movado. I am not quite sure if he has any Rolex President watch.
Acne is a big problem that affects millions of teens. And although there are plenty of effective treatments available to treat acne today, many kids go without treatment.
Acne is not caused by poor hygiene or eating too much chocolate, or by any of the other myths that people believe. Instead, acne is typically caused by the rise in hormones during puberty, especially androgens, and their effect on oil glands in the skin.
Many parents seem to overlook their child’s acne problem though and don’t bring it to their Pediatrician’s attention, either because they think they can treat it effectively on their own or they don’t think it is important enough to go to the doctor for.
So be sure to schedule an appointment with your Pediatrician to discuss your child’s acne and see what acne treatment options are available.
